Expozi\u0163ia \u201eCopil\u0103ria \u00een Gulag\u201d a fost realizat\u0103 cu suportul Programului \u201eThe Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme\u201d al Ministerului Afacerilor Externe al Republicii Lituania \u0219i este un omagiu adus tuturor copiilor care au trecut prin atrocit\u0103\u021bile regimului totalitar-comunist din URSS.<\/p>\n
Proiectul face parte din Programul cultural na\u021bional \u201eTimi\u0219oara \u2013 Capital\u0103 European\u0103 a Culturii \u00een anul 2023\u201d \u0219i este finan\u021bat prin programul Inside Timi\u0219oara 2023, derulat de Centrul de Proiecte al Municipiului Timi\u0219oara, cu sume alocate de la bugetul de stat, prin bugetul Ministerului Culturii.<\/p>\n

Vor prezenta Dr. Ludmila D Cojocaru<\/strong> \u0219i Dr. Virgiliu B\u00eerl\u0103deanu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The exhibition \u201eCHILDHOOD IN T HE GULAG\u201d presents photo-documentary images that <\/em>reflect the lives of Bessarabian children sentenced to deportation, famine, Russification, <\/em>indoctrination and the forced excision from their own families because of the repressive policies of the totalitarian-communist regime in the Moldavian SSR, 1940-1941 and 1944-1953. During the Stalinist deportations in 1941, 1949 and 1951 alone, from the Moldavian SSR, about 20.000 children were deported, most of them being affected by the second wave of deportations from 5-6 July 1949 ( 11.899 children). Some children died on the way to exile; others were born on the train of deportees. Also, a dramatic number of children died due to the forced famine, harsh conditions in the childcare institutions for the children of \u201eenemies of the people\u201d, and some of them were born far from their parents\u2019 and grandparents\u2019 homeland \u2013 in the special settlements or in the places of imprisonment of their mothers. Along with the deported parents, imprisoned in camps or prisons, the children were forced to develop their own survival strategies to adapt to extreme conditions. The narratives of the children educated during the years of forced Sovietization in the Moldavian SSR contain feelings, attitudes, events, which reveal their individual vision of the past, their personal experience of\u00a0 confrontation with the system. Silence and self-censorship were among the imposed strategies, and the attitude of the repressive system towards children deported or excised from the families of \u201eenemies of the people\u201d or \u201etraitors of The Motherland\u201d reflects the essence of Soviet society and of the project of \u201ehappy childhood in the USSR\u201d. The memories of the victims of the totalitarian-communist regime, the discourses and strategies applied in daily life, reveal detachments and pronounced fractures in the identity inculcated by the totalitarian Soviet state. Unii copiii au murit \u00een drum spre locul exilului, al\u021bii au venit pe lume chiar \u00een trenul cu deporta\u021bi.
